MindUnite is looked after by a dedicated team of moderators, without whom we would simply not be the place we are. They are in charge of looking out for our members, keeping their boards in order, and making sure that MindUnite remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

So... introducing our moderating team...

[Natara]

Hello! I'm Natara, and I moderate the Personality Disorders forum. I became a moderator to learn more about coping with and the treatment of personality disorders, to contribute more to MindUnite, and to support our wonderful administrators.

I'm in my early 20's and work in the hospitality industry. I have a small obsession with coffee preparation, a large obsession with anime, and aspirations to become an opera singer.

I first joined MindUnite when my diagnosis code was 296.3 (Major Depressive Disorder Recurrent). In Sept '08, I was reassessed by a psychiatrist and diagnosed officially with Borderline Personality Disorder, unofficially Personality Disorder NOS, and my current therapist has "given up trying to give [me] an accurate diagnosis." Throughout the years, I have been hospitalized several times and gained a lot of first-hand experience in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. I am currently learning about and making a lot of progress through schema therapy.

It is my hope that this site can be your place to find useful resources and helpful friends, open ears and understanding words.
